Playas del Coco is Guanacaste´s most traditional vacation site. Years before the first 5 star hotels were built in places like Puntarenas or Tamarindo, thousands of “Ticos” visited Playas del Coco on their vacations. As a result, the small town has developed one of the most abundant and diverse nightlife in Costa Rica. From live Country music to every variety of Reggae from around the Caribbean, you are sure to find the place to have a great time and make friends.
Get involved with the local community and learn how you can help promote sustainable development. Meet with all the people who are already working in raising awareness about the challenges marine conservation presently faces. Find the many ways also you can make a difference!
Let’s get together and celebrate the wonders of the sea!
